Calling all Singers!

The Heart of Kent Hospice invites you to join the Hospice Festival Choir  for the world’s largest singing event.   ‘Voices for Hospices’ takes place every two years  and is an international celebration of hospice and palliative care services and an exciting way of raising funds for your local Hospice.   At Heart of Kent Hospice we care for people with a terminal illness in Aylesford, Malling and Tonbridge and we depend on the generosity of our local community to raise £4.00 out of every £5.00 we spend.

Our  semi staged performance of Gilbert and Sullivan’s The Mikado which will take place on Saturday 28th October  at Mote Hall in Maidstone will bring together singers and orchestral players from Maidstone and the surrounding villages.

Rehearsals will take place on Tuesdays from 7.30 – 9.30 pm at the United Reformed Church in Week Street (ME14 1 QU)  from 12th September until 24th  October and there will be an obligatory final rehearsal at Mote Park on the day of the concert.  The Registration fee is £5.00 per singer and a vocal score can be hired for £1.00.  Please register as soon as possible so that sufficient scores are ordered.

For questions about the Hospital Festival Choir please contact Freda Crispin on 01622 726193 .  To request a registration form please contact Maddy Boyle on 01622 790195.
