Farewell presentation at All Saints’ Church in Hollingbourne.

Hollingbourne Churchwarden Jim Findlay today made a presentation at the end of the Morning Worship service to Pauline Stubbs who is shortly to leave Hollingbourne for her native Ireland. Over several decades Pauline has been very active in the life of Hollingbourne Church and has held various posts including Deputy Churchwarden and Chairman of the Social Committee which has been responsible for various events including the annual Harvest Supper and Christmas Fair.

She has also been active in other organisations including the Hollingbourne Reading Group.

Today’s service was conducted by Father Anthony after which Jim Findlay paid tribute to the work of Pauline and presented her with Good Luck card while fellow Churchwarden Val Lurcock gave her a bouquet. At Pauline’s request a collection for her is to be donated to local charity Maidstone Care.
