Hollingbourne Parish voted by a majority to not object to this scheme although a number of residents were concerned about the impact on traffic and the fact that any Section 61 payments in respect of local school places would benefit Harrietsham and not Hollingbourne. The development has 12 houses including plots 9-12 which described as “more affordable” rather than being “affordable”. It is currently not known when the planning application will be considered by Maidstone Borough Council.
