First real snow fall of the winter hits Hollingbourne.

Hollingbourne residents awoke this morning to see the village covered in white. Although there was a very brief snow flurry at the end of November this was the first real snow this winter and it quickly turned to rain leaving Eyhorne Street covered in slush. Yesterday the weather was cold and bright and today rain was forecast so the snow was a surprise.

Pictured below are some snow scenes in the Eyhorne Street Conservation Area at 8am this morning.
