Gordon Bristow scoops Chrysanthemum class in Autumn Show.

One time Chelsea Flower Gold Medallist Gordon Bristow from Greenway Court Road scooped the Chrysanthemum class by winning the first three prizes  in the Leeds Castle and Hollingbourne Garden Society Autumn Show in the Village Hall today. The Annual event started at 1.30pm and attracted dozens of entries.

Some of the many people who attended the Safari Market organised by the Hollingbourne WI and the Hollingbourne Meadows Trust which ended at 2pm stayed on to visit the Show in the Village Hall where refreshments were available. Among the visitors was Ralph Baldock who retired as Headteacher of Hollingbourne County Primary School in July after 28 years in post. He also presented the prizes at the end of the Show.
