Kent Online is today reporting that Bill Nash (77) from the Pilgrim’s Way has gone missing and during the night a police helicopter with a search light was seen flying over Hollingbourne at 2.30am in the search for him. Please Read More for the text of the Kent Online report.
UPDATE as of 2pm on 8th August – Bill Nash has been found alive and well in Stockbury having been out all night in the rain.
Police are appealing for help in finding a pensioner who has been reported missing from near Maidstone.
William Nash, 77, was last seen in Pilgrims Way, Hollingbourne, at around 1.15pm on Tuesday, August 7.
He is white and described as being bald, around 5ft 10ins tall and of average build.
He is believed to be wearing a grey and white striped t-shirt, bright blue shorts, beige hat and sandals.
Police are urging anyone who may have seen Mr Nash or has any information which may assist with their enquiries to call 101, quoting reference 07-1393.
