A chance to say ‘thank you’

Bishop Trevor’s Diocesan farewell will be on Saturday 11 May after Evensong in the Cathedral, which starts at 3:15pm. If you or your church would like to make a financial gift to thank Bishop Trevor and Margaret for their ministry, you can contribute to their retirement collection Please send cheques payable to ‘CDBF – Bishop Trevor Farewell’ to the Finance Team at Diocesan House, Lady Wootton’s Green, Canterbury CT1 1NQ.

Bishop Trevor will be retiring in May 2019 and the search for a new Bishop of Dover will get underway early next year. There will be a number of consultations taking place throughout January, including a public meeting on 16 Jan at 7pm in the Clagett Auditorium of the Cathedral Precincts. All are welcome to attend – please make your voice heard and pray for all involved in this process. The Archbishop’s Council is due to meet on Thursday and Friday of this week to consider the appointment of the new Bishop and comments can be sent to caroline.boddington@churchofengland.org
