The fireworks on 3rd November in the grounds of Hollingbourne School raised £955 for village causes bringing the cumulative total over the last twelve years to over £10,000. Hundreds of people attended the event where there was also a bar selling Kentish ales and hot food.
Beccy Stroud, the principal organiser, writes:-
The twelfth annual Hollingbourne Village Fireworks was a great success with dry weather boosting numbers to over 500! The event made a profit of £955.00, £200 of which will be donated to the school with another £200 available to any village organisations who ask! £500.00 will be kept as a buffer for next year.
Please email Beccy Stroud at email@example.com if you would like to discuss the distribution of the funds.
A huge thank you to all who helped at the event, Colin Leggat as always for lending us his field and to Mrs. Bradley-Wyatt for letting us hold the event at the school.
See you all next year!
