Five tickets have unexpectedly become available for the Saturday night show by the Saint George’s Players in Hollingbourne Village Hall which is one of the events in Hollingbourne to mark the centenary of the end of WW1. The otherwise sold out Revue is in aid of the Project 100 scheme to plant 100 hawthorn trees on the Eyhorne Meadows Trust land which hopefully will also raise money for the Royal British Legion.
Other events include a Service of Remembrance in All Saints’ Church at 10.45am, the dedication of the trees at a ceremony led by the Reverend Paul Kite at 2pm which will be attended by the Mayor of Maidstone, Councillor David Naghi, and the lighting of a beacon in the Meadow at 7.05pm to coincide with the ringing of bells in the church.
More details about the Revue appear below. The number for ticket sales is 880200.
