Bank There is no bank in Hollingbourne apart from limited facilities at the Post Office which is open from 10am to 2pm on Wednesdays in Christopher’s Village Shop. All of the major banks have branches in Maidstone and National Westminster has a branch in Bearsted on the A20 from Hollingbourne to Maidstone. There is a cash machine at the Junction 8 Motorway Service Area on the M20 close to Hollingbourne and a free cash machine at the Tesco Express/Esso Garage on the A20 in Bearsted.

Hollingbourne has cuurently three public houses, the Windmill and the Sugar Loaves (formerly the Station Hotel) in Eyhorne Street and the Dirty Habit (formerly the Kings Head and then the Pilgrim’s Rest in Upper Street. The Hook and Hatchet at Hucking (Tel 880272) – Turn left at the top of Hollingbourne Hill and then turn left past St. Margaret’s Church at Hucking or turn left at Dirty Habit and proceed to Broad Street and then turn right and follow narrow road to Hook and Hatchet. The Inn serves food and has live music nights. Facilities to tether horses are available outside the inn. A small campsite is attached to the public house which adjoins the Hucking estate of the Woodland Trust.
The Ringlestone Inn between Hollingbourne and Harrietsham (Tel 859900) – Turn right at the top of Hollingbourne Hill and follow road to crossroads. Drive on as the road narrows and the Ringlestone is on the right. The Inn serves food, has a large garden, and is reputed to be haunted. Accomodation is available in a separate building opposite the Inn.
The Blacksmith’s Arms at Wormshill (Tel 884386). – Turn right at the top of Hollingbourne Hill and follow the road to the crossroads where you turn left and go towards Wormshill where the Inn is on the right as you enter the village. The Blacksmith’s Arms also serves food.
