Maidstone Borough Council has published their “Statement of Case” for their defence of the appeal by Roxhill PLC against the decision of Maidstone Borough Council to refuse planning permission for a vast warehousing and distribution centre at Woodcut Farm near to Junction 8 of the M20 which is in Hollingbourne. Previous attempts to develop on the site over the last twenty five years have been successfully opposed by Maidstone Borough Council, Kent County Council, local Parish Councils, CPRE, Leeds Castle, Natural England, local MP’s, and thousands of local residents. It is understood that the appeal will be held in October.
