New barber shop for Eyhorne Street.

Amba Waghorn, who comes from a family of hairdressers, has today launched a new barber’s shop in the Eyhorne Street Conservation Area of Hollingbourne. The new business is in the shop premises that were formerly occupied by Stone Hair and Beauty which was preceded by Boniface and Hair Team. The new shop is called Rock, Paper, Scissors, Barber’s.

The new shop which will cater for gentlemen and children will be open from Tuesday to Saturday from 9am to 5pm with late night opening on Thursdays to 7pm. Haircutting prices range from £7 for OAP’s to £12 for non pensioners. Children are £8 and other services are available including shaving and beard trimming. Cold drinks are also on sale.

The shop has been redecorated since  the closure of Stone Hair and Beauty last October and now boasts a red and white barber’s pole on the outside. Customers with dogs are also welcome.
