New planning application for Eyhorne Mews.

New planning application for Eyhorne Mews.

A new planning application has been made for a two bed-roomed development in Eyhorne Mews which will replace the existing five garages in the Eyhorne Street Conservation Area of Hollingbourne where parking is already difficult and garages almost non-existent. Local residents with the support of Hollingbourne Parish Council have previously opposed development on the site for several reasons including the very narrow access.

The Application Number is 15/503232/FULL and comments are required by Maidstone Borough Council by 7th July. More details are at http://pa.midkent.gov.uk/online-applications and the relevant Planning Officer is Ms Kathryn Alteri (Tel 602636)

Comments can be sent to planningcomments@midkent.gov.uk and the Reference Number 15/503232/FULL should be quoted.

Pictured below is Vicki Smith, Parish Clerk in the gap which leads to the development site. When the existing building was constructed it is understood that no construction equipment could access the site so all material was delivered by wheelbarrow!
