The Kent Minerals and Waste Local Plan was submitted to the Secretary of State on 3 November 2014. Inspector Jonathan G King BA (Hons) Dip TP MRTPI was appointed to examine the Plan and issued his report to the County Council on the 26 April 2016 and concluded that the Plan was legally compliant and sound, subject to certain modifications.
In accordance with Regulation 26 of the Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012, this letter, and the enclosed Adoption Statement are intended to inform you that members of the County Council have now resolved to adopt the Plan. The Plan, and the accompanying Sustainability Appraisal Adoption Statement are available for inspection in hard copy at all of the offices and libraries listed on the enclosed statement; they are also available to view on the following website:
