There is an upcoming consultation on bus subsidies taking place in early 2018 which is focused on how KCC will save £4m of spend on subsidised bus services (which is included within the 18-19 – 19-20 budget plan). Any service changes / withdrawals resulting from this consultation will not come into effect until September 2018.

The present bus service is operated by Nu Venture from Monday to Friday and by Arriva on Saturdays with no service on Sundays.  The present weekday service runs every two hours from Hollingbourne Church and takes at least half an hour to get to Maidstone with the first bus at 7.17am weekdays and the last bus at 4.47pm.
