Programme announced for the Summer Fete and Exemption Dog Show.

The Hollingbourne Fete Committee has announced the programme for the Annual Summer Fete and Exemption Dog Show which is to be held on Saturday 10th June from 1pm to 5.30pm on the Lance Memorial Playing Field. The theme of the Fete is Cartoon Characters and the Fete will be officially opened by Councillor Malcolm Greer, the Mayor of Maidstone.  Over thirty visitors will be coming from Templeuve with their popular zumba dancers. The programme appears below.

12.30pm – Classic Cars leave Village Hall car park

12.45pm – Classic Cars arrive at the Fete and parade in the arena

  1.00pm – Fete Opening Ceremony by The Mayor of Maidstone

  1.05pm – Judging of children’s fancy dress by The Mayor

  1.10pm – Judging of stalls by The Mayor

  1.10pm – Hoola Hooping demonstration by Hollingbourne Primary School

          1.20pm – Sports Events in arena

  2.30pm – Zumba dancing by Templeuve en Pevele

  3pm – Maypole Dancing by Hollingbourne Primary School

  3.20pm – Exemption Dog Show

  4.35pm – Direction Performing Arts Dance Display

  5pm – Prize giving

  5.05pm – Tug o’ war competition

  5.30pm – Fete closes.
