Public Consultation on Safer Communities.

Hollingbourne Parish Council has received details of a Maidstone Borough Council Public Consultation on Safer Communities. Please Read More for further information.

Dear Parish Council

Re: Safer Communities Public Consultation

Maidstone Borough Council are carrying out a public consultation to understand people’s perceptions of crime and disorder and what makes Maidstone a safer place to live, work and visit. We will be asking people to take part in a public consultation by completing a short survey that should take no longer than 10 minutes of their time. The survey is open to all residents and visitors to Maidstone. The survey will take place from Monday 22nd August 2016 and it will run until Sunday 11th September 2016.

People will be asked to share their views on crime in their local area and the town centre, including how safe they feel, which crimes are a problem, and what makes them feel safe.

All completed residents and visitors questionnaires will have the opportunity to be entered into a prize draw to win £100 of Maidstone shopping vouchers. The prize draw will be held on Friday 23rd September 2016.

The residents survey can be found online through this link: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/SaferCom16

If you have any questions, please email consultation@maidstone.gov.uk
