The Pied Piper of Hamelin is the 2017 Hollingbourne Pantomime.

The Hollingbourne Pantomime Group has selected “The Pied Piper of Hamelin” as their production for 2017 which will run in the Village Hall from 8th to 11th February 2017. The show is written and directed by Peter Bonds who was one of the founders of the Group in 1978.

Peter Bonds writes:-

I’ve long toyed with making Robert Browning’s poem into a pantomime so I already knew when I volunteered for this project it would be a challenge trying to hammer the square peg of the original poem into the round hole of a pantomime plot (hence “Not the Browning Version”). If you can spare the time, it doesn’t take long to read the original. Then you can put it on one side and forget it.”

The auditions in the Village Hall is as follows:-

Adult auditions at 7.30pm.

Wednesday 19th October 2016 & Sunday 23rd October 2016

Children’s Auditions at 6pm.

Sunday 6th November 2016 & Sunday 13th November 2016

Everyone welcome!
