Following the signing of the Twinning Agreement in English between Hollingbourne and Templeuve at Leeds Castle on 11th March, a second signing ceremony in French was held in Templeuve Old Town Hall on 18th March. It was attended by representatives of Templeuve Town Council, Hollingbourne Parish Council, and local Templeuve organisations including the War Veterans Association. Representatives from Templeuve including the Town Band will be attending the Hollingbourne Fete on 15th June which will be opened by Luc Monnet, theMayor of Templeuve. Other French themed events will be held in Hollingbourne over the next few months and these are listed in Diary Dates. A number of organisations in Templeuve including the school wish to establish links with Hollingbourne and a Templeuve Twinning Committee is being formed. It is intended that a similar Committee will be established in Hollingbourne and more details will be available at the Annual Parish Assembly in the Village Hall on 23rd April.
