Up goes the Hollingbourne Christmas Tree!

The Hollingbourne Christmas Tree, which is an annual gift from Leeds Castle, is now up on Tanyard Green.

Up to 2015 it has been the custom for residents to sing carols around the Tree, usually on the last Saturday evening before Christmas, with Mince pies and mulled wine funded by Hollingbourne Parish Council. Last year nobody came forward so the tradition lapsed but there will be carols and mulled wine in the Sugar Loaves PH in Eyhorne Street from 7.30pm on Friday 22nd December.

The Christmas Tree on Eyhorne Green is kindly provided by the Stroud family and Andrew Snowdon of Musket Lane.
