34 Dakotas to fly over Hollingbourne on Wednesday en route to Normandy.

On Wednesday afternoon at 2.37pm a total of 34 historic Dakota DC3 aircraft are expected to fly over Hollingbourne en route to the 75th D Day celebrations in Normandy on 5th June. The Dakota was the workhorse of the second world war and was noted for the strong design of the fuselage and over 16,000 were built.
