Hollingbourne Parish Council has been advised that the B2163/C603 will be closed on Sunday 3rd and Sunday 10th November from 9am to 5pm to allow an CCTV investigation of the drains. This will affect Hollingbourne Hill, Upper Street, and the top part of Eyhorne Street.
Alan Caryl of Kent County Council writes:-
To keep you informed, we have raised an order to undertake a highway drainage system CCTV survey, the location of the survey will be from Ringlestone Road to just past the Church, see attached location plan. This survey is planned to take place under a road closure on Sunday 3rd and Sunday 10th November between the hours of 0900 & 1700, access to the public house and residents will be maintained from one end of the closure or the other and as far as practicably possible. There will be times when the road is fully blocked, especially up hill of the public house – Hollingbourne Hill and we will not be able to let vehicles through. There will be business open as usual signs set out with the road closure signs so customers are aware the public house is still open.
