Hollingbourne ME!7 1TR
This event was originally scheduled for 15th June When it was expected that Ms Alex Seth Smith, the Conservator of the 17th Culpeper Tapestry, would give a talk about the tapestry which belongs to All Saints’ Church. It was then postponed to 23rd November and unfortunately the Conservator is unable to come.
Val Lurcock, Churchwarden, writes:
Regrettably the Conservator of the Culpeper Embroidery has advised us that she is no longer able to present her planned talk and slide show on Saturday 23 November.
We are obviously extremely disappointed to hear this news but have decided to continue with our Open Morning offering viewing of the seldom seen needlework displayed within our beautiful church. The viewing will include a verbal description of the history of the embroidery and then a chance to stay and chat over a cup of tea or coffee.
Please contact Val Lurcock on 01622.880694 if you wish to join us.
