Annual Summer Fete and Exemption Dog Show

The Annual Village Fete with stalls and entertainments for everyone. The entire day is supported by Hollingbourne Parish Council and other local organisations.

The programme for the Fete in 2019 was as follows and the 2020 event is expected to be generally similar (tbc):

To be held on The Lance Memorial Playing Field, Hollingbourne

Programme of Events

12.45 pm – Classic Cars assemble at the Fete
1.00 pm – Fete Opening Ceremony by James Findlay
1.05 pm – Classic Cars parade in the arena
1.15 pm – Judging of stalls by representatives from Parish Council, Church and School
1.15 pm – Exemption Dog Show (part 1)
1.50 pm – Maypole Dancing by Hollingbourne Primary School
2.15 pm – Sports Events in arena
3.20 pm – Kent Spectations
3.45 pm – Exemption Dog Show (part 2)
4.20 pm – Directions Performing Arts
5.00 pm – Prize giving (Best stall) by James Findlay
5.05 pm – Tug o’ war competition (Teams of 8 to register by 4.30 pm)
5.35 pm – Fete closes.
