Hollingbourne Parish Council has received notification of the following M20 closures from Kier who are managing the Smart Motorways Scheme for Highways England.

Monday 08 to 13 April 2019
Work to reduce congestion and improve journey times continues this week with narrow lanes and a reduced speed limit of 50mph both coast and London bound 24/7. Free recovery service and speed enforcement are in place to ensure drivers and road workers safety.
Monday 08 April to 13 April (Inclusive)
08, 09, 10, 11, 12 April there will be a full overnight closure of the M20 coastbound junction 4 entry slip and the M20 London bound junction 4 exit slip. A clearly signed diversion will be in place via the next available junction.
13 April there will be a full overnight closures of the M20 Londbound junction 5 entry and the M20 coastbound junction 5 exit slip.
In addition to these closures there will be various lane 1 & 2 closures on the main M20 London bound and coastbound. These closures are overnight only between 20:00 and 06:00hrs.

Please note the above information has been copied from the notice sent to Hollingbourne Parish Council as the format used by Kier is incompatible with the format used for the Hollingbourne Parish Council website which is supported by Kent County Council.
The above closure is separate from Operation Brock which affects the M20 from Junction 8 at Hollingbourne to Junction 9 at Ashford. The coastbound slip road at Junction 8 remains closed and drivers wishing to go coastbound from Junction 8 need to go back up to Junction 7 before coming back to Junction 8.
