Sadly, Rosemary Stratton, a long-term resident of Hollingbourne, has died at Maidstone Hospital on 22nd September. She had, until recently, been living at Larchmere House in Frittenden, but was admitted to hospital towards the end of August, following her 80th birthday.
She worked as a Ward Sister at the former Kent Opthalmic Hospital in Marsham Street, and was a long-standing member of the congregation at All Saints Church.
She had a good network of close friends and helpers, and also many friends from her nursing days.
Although retired, she still loved to support others in ill health. She also gave a very good home to her cats and bulldogs, in particular.
