The proposal is for: Demolition of rear timber structure, erection of new external stair to 1st floor entrance door, and change of use of 1st floor to 5no. letting rooms for visitors, including associated works.
The Windmill pub is grade II listed as a late 16th century building. the most significant and sensitive part of the building is the main 1500s block. List description available online here
The application also details an email on 13th November 2019 in which Paul Robertshaw, principal conservation officer for head of planning and development advises against a prior plan for a two storey extension.
