Hush Heath Inns submits planning application for ‘accommodation pods’ at The Windmill Pub

Hush Heath Inns, the new owners of the Windmill Pub in Hollingbourne have submitted plans for ‘accommodation ‘pods’ outside the Village Hall. The application and plans can be viewed online here

The Statement below is Hush Heath Inns intention for the future of the village Hall:

“our acquisition of the Windmill Pub continues our strategy of creating great venues where local residents can enjoy fresh cooked producer, quality wines and beers, as well as the availability of luxury hotel rooms in a beautiful environment with excellent service. As part of our philosophy we want the Hollingbourne community to continue to utilise and enjoy the Village Hall and it is our intention to allow existing and new users to have continued use of the hall for the benefit of the whole village community.

we intend to improve the condition of the village hall in order that it can be used in conjunction with the Windmil pub for  events such as weddings, wakes, birthday parties and other private celebratory occasions together with activities such as film and quiz evenings. we are delighted at the continuation of the local and well known annual pantomime and very much look forward to working closely with all local residents to ensure the Windmill remains at the heart of the village community.”
