Last summer Hollingbourne Cricket Club ceased playing matches due to a lack of players and many of their existing team moved to Bearsted Cricket Club. The Club was founded in 1870 and has a ground and pavilion on the Pilgrim’s Way at the rear of the Dirty Habit Public House in Upper Street. The ongoing position of the Club and ground in unclear.
