Leeds Castle is at the southern end of the village between Hollingbourne and Leeds. The castle is surrounded by a lake and is set in extensive grounds which include a nine hole golf course. Events are held throughout the year and the castle is owned by the Leeds Castle Foundation who are a registered charity. Facilities include holiday cottages for rental and tours of the extensive grounds on a Segway. Regular attractions include an aviary, an extensive Children’s play area, a 9 hole golf course, a “Go Ape” trail, a dog collar museum, and of course the historic castle which is surrounded by a moat.
