Programme announced for Summer Fete and Exemption Dog Show.

The Summer Fete Committee has announced the programme for the Hollingbourne Annual Summer Fete and Exemption Dog Show on Saturday 9th June which will be opened by the Reverend Paul Kite who moved to Hollingbourne last autumn as the Team Vicar for the North Downs Parishes which includes All Saints’ Church in Hollingbourne. The Fete is supported by Hollingbourne Parish Council and will take place on the Lance Memorial Playing Field.

The Programme is as follows:

Programme of Events

12.45pm – Classic Cars assemble at the Fete
1.00pm – Fete Opening Ceremony by Rev. Paul Kite
1.05pm – Classic Cars parade in the arena
1.15pm – Judging of children’s fancy dress by Rev. Paul Kite
1.25pm – Judging of stalls by representatives from Parish Council, Church and School
1.25pm – Exemption Dog Show
2.40pm – Zumba by Templeuve en Pevele
3.10pm – Maypole Dancing by Hollingbourne Primary School
3.35pm – Sports Events in arena
4.50pm – Prize giving (Best stall and the reading of sports events winners) by Rev Paul Kite
5.00pm – Tug o’ war competition
5.30pm – Fete closes.

Stall prices are £15 for village organisations, £25 for Hollingbourne businesses, and £40 for non-Hollingbourne businesses. The prices include a gazebo if required and vendors of food and drink are asked to supply a food hygiene certificate plus details of public liability insurance cover (if appropriate).

Volunteers are wanted for the setting up of the Fete from 9am on the morning of the event and for the clearing up afterwards. Please contact the Parish Clerk if you can help.
