Temporary Road Closure – Eyhorne Street, Hollingbourne – 4th January 2020

Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on Eyhorne Street, Hollingbourne from 4th January 2020 for up to 2 days.

The road will be closed in the general vicinity of number 1, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for southbound traffic is via Hollingbourne Hill, Swanton Street, Primrose Lane, Bredgar Road, Hearts Delight Road, Wrens Road, Sutton Baron Road, Oad Street, A249 Sittingbourne Road, Bearsted Road, New Cut Road, A20 Ashford Road, Eyhorne Street.
The alternative route for Northbound traffic is via A20 Ashford Road, New Cut Road, A249 Sittingbourne Road, A249 Stockbury Roundabout, Oad Street, Sutton Baron Road, Wrens Road, Hearts Delight Road, Bredgar Road, Primrose Lane, Swanton Street, Hollingbourne Hill.

Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
